Agenda Highlights 12/12/23

The Fort Smith Board of Directors study session meeting scheduled for 12-12-23 will begin with a presentation from the Community School of the Arts about their plan for their facility being built on Riverfront Drive and a request from them for the City to donate a total of $1 million to the school over a period of 10 years. In addition to its primary purpose of being a charter performing arts high school, CSA plans to host an annual national arts festival and a minimum of 100 shows and concerts per year.

The Board will have a joint meeting with members of the 64.6 Board and hear an update on the activities performed by 64.6 in relation to their contract with the City to provide downtown services.

The Board will hear and discuss the results of the recently completed study of water rates.
