Highlights of the Fort Smith Board of Directors Meeting 8/17/21

At the Fort Smith Board of Directors meeting 8-17-21, purchasing 4 forty foot and 2 thirty-five foot heavy duty public transit buses was approved. The vote was unanimous (with Director Morton absent from the meeting).

On the suggestion of Director Settle, it was voted unanimously to table the items pertaining to the water and sewer extensions on Riverfront Drive until the next meeting to help ensure that all other alternatives to building a sewage pump station had been explored fully.

Ron Smith was reappointed to the Mechanical Board of Adjustments and Appeals. Nancy Raney was reappointed to the Parks and Recreation Commission. And Karen Lewis was appointed to the Property Owners Appeal Board.
